Sticks and Stones is a stylish, relaxed café with a wonderful kitchenalia shop. Ideal for brunch, a light lunch or afternoon tea, you can enjoy delicious food freshly made to order either in the airy café or outside.

The menu is varied and has special seasonal options, as well as vegan choices. Well known for serving fabulous coffee, Sticks and Stones is also licensed, offering wine, beer or prosecco.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome and there is also free wifi.

Sticks and Stones makes hand made products for kitchen shops and restaurants in the UK and overseas and has an impressive list of clients, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. From individually designed chopping and carving boards to wooden spoons of every size and shape, the range of kitchen equipment on offer is beautiful to look at as well as being practical and well designed. They also source other high quality, artisan kitchen products, so you can have a really good browse – it’s an ideal place for gift ideas.

This lovely café is perfect as a refreshment stop. It is almost exactly halfway between Stonehenge and Avebury so if you are visiting the World Heritage Sites it is just right for lunch on your way from one to the other.

If you want to do some walking, then there is a network of footpaths on the doorstep, including this fabulous walk from Woodborough, taking in the Kennet & Avon Canal, Honeystreet and Bottlesford. Sticks and Stones is also on the National Cycle Route 4 as well as on our Family, Expert and Challenge cycling routes.
