One of a series of walks created and documented by experts and enthusiasts at the Bedwyn Footpaths Group.
This circular walk starts at the Village Square in Great Bedwyn, goes out of the village along Galley Lane, crosses fields that skirt the Brails and down to the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath. Leaving the canal and the railway behind, it goes up Hatchet Lane to cross the fields towards to Chisbury Wood, where it drops back down into the village.
Moderate walking conditions. One pedestrian rail crossing. Steady inclines. No stiles.
