Gardens and grounds are open twice a year via NGS scheme. In the spring for the spectacular daffodils and bluebells and in the summer. The woodland also has a lovely display of snakeshead fritillaries.
The Millennium Pavillion is the only building designed by chinese Amercian architect I M Pei built as the focus at the end of the Vista of Oare House notable for work by Willlaim Clough Ellis who built Port Merion visible from local footpaths.
Oare House Arboretum has some rare trees including 2 Hankerchief Trees, accessible via fotpath and can be seen form the Road C264 Oare to Alton Road. This wood is also famous for watching badgers
