Pete Bromwich Folk Music

Peter Bromwich makes and plays the Hammered Dulcimer in the Vale of Pewsey.  Peter can be seen at events around Pewsey playing at the Crown Folk Night on the last Thursday of every month, with the Pewsey Male Voice Chior and other local events.

The Dulcimer orginonally came from the midlle east and was bought to our shores by the returning Crusaders.  It was the forerunner of the piano and harpsicord, and was popular until around the 16^th century when the new modern piano type instruments took over.
