Set in a valley, the picturesque village of Shalbourne abounds with pretty thatched buildings. It has a central village green, a village shop and a pub – The Plough Inn.
It’s a good place for walking with plenty of footpaths available.
There is a number of annual events worth looking out for – Shalbourne May Fair (in May), Shalbourne Open Gardens (in June) and Shalbourne Classic Car Show in September/October.
