The cottages are extraordinarily well placed within easy reach of Avebury, Stonehenge, Stourhead Gardens, Bowood House, Highclere Castle, The Kennet and Avon Canal, Savernake Forest, Marlborough, Devizes, Salisbury, Bath, Oxford, Winchester as well as easy day trips to London on the train ….the list can go on and on, but if all this makes you feel a bit tired then just slow down, potter around the local villages, the canal and the small market towns and enjoy the fresh air, the bird song, the local wildlife and the fabulous landscape.
Directions Train - regular services run from London (Paddington) to either Bedwyn or Pewsey (about 1 hour 15 minutes). We can usually collect you (and your bikes) if you are coming by train or you can cycle here along quiet lanes from Bedwyn (3 miles).
Car - 15 minutes from Junction 14 M4 and 15 minutes from the A303.
Directions - Please use these directions once you get to the village as if you use sat nav you won't find us! If entering East Grafton from Burbage (if coming from Marlborough or Salisbury and A303) look for green sign (Manor Farm) on right. If approaching from Hungerford (M4/London) go through the village and look for green sign on left just before you leave village.
Follow drive to top and turn left just past panel fence – this will bring you to front of The Stables.
